Adrenalin Junkies
I've just got home from a two week holiday to New Zealand (touring in a campervan/ motor home with three other families but that's another story!). Now, holidays are generally considered to be a time to recharge one's batteries but someone forgot to tell that to the Kiwis! I thought I was a fairly adventurous sort but I must be getting less so in my old age.New Zealanders pride themselves on being the inventors of several extreme sports (bungy anyone?) ...

Truly for us one of our best ever holidays
Our early experiences as parents of 4 very active boys under 5, gradually wore away our desire to go camping. My wife swore she would never go on a camping holiday again. It took 30 years to persuade her to change her mind and eventually in spring this year, we set out on a camper trip to Cairns, visiting along the way some of my old surfing haunts. Hiring a Cheapa Campa van, with the comforts of home and flexibility...

Campervan Adventure
That was the first campervan in our life. The thing was I had to do something to gently persuade my wife to move to Australia. So I wanted to surprise her... to make this adventure really special! It was the best and the wildest adventure we've had. During those 10 days we've been to many amazing places:- Blue Mountains with an amazing mountain walk and scary railway adventure- Nelson Bay with waves fighting to each other - Dorriga with the...

Centralian Tour 2008
We started in Alice Springs and spent ten days sight seeing in July
2008. The highlights of the trip were Kings Canyon walk, climbing Uluru
and the Valley of the Winds walk at Kuta Tjuta. The days were warm with
high blue skies, some nights were cool but we were very comfortable in
our Apollo Cheapa Campa.

Our Trip through Western Australia
Our trip covered 6600 kilometres in about 3 weeks, starting from
Perth and heading out to Kalbarri National Park , then further on the
North West Costal Highway to Tom Price and Port Hedland. We continued
south again to Dampier, Exmouth, Coral Bay and Geraldton. We turned off
at Mt Magnet and traveled through the ?wheat-belt? to York and back to
Perth.
Our Cheapa Campa was for 2 adults (and maybe a small child).
We liked that form of traveling because...

Perth Campervan...
My family have rented Apollo campervans on two occasions in Perth in
2005 and 2006. On both occasions, Apollo provided us with very clean and
well stocked campervans combined with friendly service. On the first
occasion, my campervan was upgraded to a newer model at no additional
cost. I would not hesitate to recommend Apollo to other renters. They
facilitated my family holiday and we had such a great time exploring
Australia.
