That was the first campervan in our life. The thing was I had to do something to gently persuade my wife to move to Australia. So I wanted to surprise her... to make this adventure really special! We started in Alice Springs and spent ten days sight seeing in July 2008. The highlights of the trip were Kings Canyon walk, climbing Uluru and the Valley of the Winds walk at Kuta Tjuta. The days were warm with high blue skies, some nights were cool but we were very comfortable in our Apollo Cheapa Campa.

Our trip covered 6600 kilometres in about 3 weeks, starting from Perth and heading out to Kalbarri National Park , then further on the North West Costal Highway to Tom Price and Port Hedland. We continued south again to Dampier, Exmouth, Coral Bay and Geraldton. We turned off at Mt Magnet and traveled through the ?wheat-belt? to York and back to Perth. My family have rented Apollo campervans on two occasions in Perth in 2005 and 2006. On both occasions, Apollo provided us with very clean and well stocked campervans combined with friendly service. On the first occasion, my campervan was upgraded to a newer model at no additional cost. I would not hesitate to recommend Apollo to other renters. They facilitated my family holiday and we had such a great time exploring Australia.
