We hired an Apollo 4wd vehicle to tour up to Cape York.Our holiday was a wonderful adventure with the Apollo supplying all the comforts that we needed for such a trip. Cooking was done outside on the table which was on the vehicle. The balmy nights complimented our outside cooking  allowing us to watch the evening sunsets in this unique part of Australia.We would highly recommend these vwhicles for such a holiday.

Well I can now say that I've slept in a campervan.  It wasn't the worst night of sleep but I've definitely had better.  Lindsey and I slept in the back bed, Cameron and Caitlin snuggled on the side bed, and Chris and Trenton got the "pent house", the bed that is above the front of the car. My dream holiday is to spend sometime in Central Otago to complete the Central Otago Rail Trail and then to move on the Milford to walk the Milford track. If time allowed I would also like to explore the Caples and Greenstone tracks also. I would like to travel by a freedom campervan so that we can stop at as many place as possible on the way and explore each place by MTB.

I would absolutely love to do a full New Zealand Road trip with my family! However the kiddies are still probably a bit young for that so my next best would be to do the North Island, and then the South Island another time. Our country is so super beautiful it would be nice to be able to show them how lucky they are to live where they do. 

I'm from Christchurch and would love to take my husband and two boys on a holiday through the South Island. Exploring the wineries of Blenheim, the artistic haven and beauty of Nelson and surrounds, the nightlife in Dunedin, Orana Park and Willowbank in Christchurch to the natural beauty of Queenstown it would be the trip of a lifetime!
