Happy Camper Story

Melbourne to Perth
Hi all. My name is Rhidian and im trying to see as much of Australia as possible in a year. I was meant to fly from Melbourne to Perth and the checked out van relocation deals and there was one there. So myself and my friend Rhys randomly decided to go for it.
Id recommend this experience to anyone, we had an amazing time.
We decided to do the Great Ocean Road on the way and saw some fab things, highlight for me was the twelve apostles on this part of the journey. We stopped off in some great little towns on the way and met some amazing local people and had an all round great experience.
The wildlife we saw along the way was fantastic, the were kangaroos everywhere as well as camels. We even saw a few Koalas along the way.
Even though people say there is not much to see we enjoyed the drive and thought the roads on the way were amazing. Iv never seen such straight roads and amazing scenery.
We stopped the first night in a campsite but then pulled over in the free camping spots which was like a party atmosphere every night because of the amount of people doing the same thing.
100% if your in Australia do this drive. You'll love it.
